Tuesday 8th April 2013 - The day that Margaret Thatcher passed away.  Within seconds of the announcement, Twitter and Facebook were clogged with messages and it became impossible to find a news channel that was not reporting on it (tried and failed).  

Last month was the one year anniversary of the killing of three soldiers, a father and three children in Toulouse. In honor of those who died, there were commemorations in Montauban and Toulouse, and a march on Sunday 17 March which featured a speech from the president Francois Hollande.
