Abu Nabil Charaf Damache,
Cork Detention Centre,
Rathmore Road,
Cork,
Republic of Ireland.
14th June 2010.

To Cageprisoners,

Dear Sir/Madame

My name is Abu Nabil Charaf Damache. I’m an Algerian citizen. In March 2010 I was wrongly arrested and incarcerated with six other Muslim people including my wife. They were all released after 7 days of questioning. My wife was also released without any charges however she was deported to America by the American embassy in Dublin and now she is being incarcerated in America for the same charges she was released for in Ireland.
We are being wrongly accused of planning to kill the Swedish cartoonist who depicted the Prophet of Islam in the form of a dog. We are innocent. We never had such a plan or any intention to make such a plan. The only reason my wife came from America to Ireland was to get married and either stay in Ireland or go to Dublin or Saudi Arabia.

I would like Cageprisoners to publicise our case to the world so that it may know about our innocence and to help us return to our families.

I have sent a previous letter to Cageprisoners on the 22nd April 2010, can you please confirm receipt?

I have no relatives in Ireland my only contact is my lawyer. Also I have no contact with my wife since she was deported to America on the 2nd April 2010. My wife is ill and pregnant of few months and her 6 year old boy was taken from her. I’m very worried about her and the children. Please help us by making the world aware concerning us.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you very much.

Please write to Mr Damache voicing your support and solidarity with his cause.
