Comment: to josh and jr (who was brave enough to use a suffix as his name) guantanamo bay, abu ghuraib and the unknown number of illegal cia rendition centers were created just for one purpose, to support an illegal war, to detain illegally caputured innocents from those countries against which this war is waged and create a facade of justification to continue a mass hysteria about a war on terror. when the bush-blair admin do not use any discretion in their illegal treatment of who is a terrorist among the muslims, cageprisoner is not bound to discriminate among the legal prisoners from illegal ones. geneva convention is not something that is applied quod pro quo by governments fighting against guerilla outfits, it is a legally recognized rules of engagement. even the arabs of 7th century knew how to treat prisoners of war with dignity and respect that the technologically advanced western governments selectively applies to their opponents.

Comment: Allah swt promises in the Qur'an surah 94 verses 5&6 :After every hardship comes relief, verily after every hardship comes relief. So the scholars have said that this means that with one hardship comes two reliefs. Insh'Allah may Allah make it so for our brothers, our sons, our fathers, our mothers, our sisters, our daughters suffering hardships.May Allah grant all those who are being held unjustly, all those who have disappeared and all those who have died to be re-united with their families either in the home of this world or in the eternal home of the jannah Ameen.
The fight is tough but we must be strong to win it.Strong dear brothers and sisters in our eemaan to win it. Satan wants us to give up hope and be weary so that he can overpower us. Allah swt is merciful and full of compassion. He does not burden a soul more than it can bear. Therefore we must remember that at all times.

Comment: I have no sympathy for the Khadr family because of their ties to al-Qaida. No one in the family is free of guilt. I believe even the mother and the sisters knew what their father/husband and sons/brothers were doing.

They brought this upon themselves.

al-Qaida is a terrorist organization that kills innocent people, regardless of race and religion. Look what is happening in Iraq. They are doing their utmost to destabilize a peace process. They are contributing to whatever faction that is against peace.

Comment: The person who wrote the following anonymous message on the
"CAGEPRISONERS.COM/FEEDBACK" message board is a liar, coward, traitor, and supporter of uSA ''government rat bastards'' (quote from Barbara Hartwell) who torment, torture, terrorize and murder our Brothers and Sisters the world over at the direction of the fbi/cia, their agents, operatives, warlords, handlers and cohorts.
State your name, foolish one, publish your photo, and take credit for your atrocities (or the cover up of same); then, at least you will only be remembered as a liar and traitor.

Comment: I have come to this site while researching abuses against human rights and the death penalty. I am currently studying a Music Performance degree, and as part of the syllabus I have to write an original piece of music in a genre of my choice. I have chosen to write a piece of protest music, because quite frankly, there is so much to protest about.
I am embarassed and sickened by some of the comments on this page, which appear to be from non-Muslims, who are using the page to post disparraging messages, which only enforces the 'Them, And Us' mentality I fear is becoming dangerously prevailant in Britain.
I have some ideas already for my piece of music already, concerning the illegality of Bush's War On Terror, the flawed trial of Hussein, the 'Bush World Order' and the lack of unity between Muslims and non-Muslims for the purposes of correcting abuses of human rights, both abroad by the US and here at home, by MI5 and British Judicial System.
In the interests of writing a balanced, factually correct piece of music which is effective in conveying the protest, I would appreciate input from users of this site in highlighting the most beneficial information that the general public need to hear. What are the underlying priciples of the Muslim faith (I am Christian and have limited knowledge on basic beliefs of other religions) and why has Islam been targeted by the Western governments, as opposed to say; Hinduism or Buddhism. What are it's similarities to the teachings of Christianity and what are it's downfalls?
I would appreciate phonetic descriptions of any words that I may not understand or be able to pronounce.
I am a pacifist and would like mainly suggestions on what we could do to start in motion some stability and peace.

I am working around the statement; "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind".

When I have recorded my music, I intend to send it to detainess to let them know they are not forgotten.

Thank you very much for your time, I look forward to recieving your input.

Kind regards,
Alisha de Lacey

Comment: Hello from the Isle of Briton. I have read a little of your page. The plight of the prisoners isn't on the news enough and thats a factor in their continued detention .The need to detain them isn't real but it's likely that the spite of the u.s authorities is loath to let them go. I wish you well with your work and as do many hope that the u.s authorities will release the prisoners from captivity. Best luck Ahmad !
